PAD kadiri is a Non-Governmental Organization. It is a registered Body with its origin in the year 1982. Ever since its offing, it began working and launched its working programmes in 4 Mandals i.e. Nallamada, Kadiri, Nallacheuruvu and Gandlapenta. Except kadiri Urban area all the rest are remote rural area bereft of social justice and literacy and also sustained rural economy. The rural masses were ignorant and superstition matter. PAD with its strengthened from its grass root level, identified and approached the needy persons and introduced the following programmes to educate the matter with awareness on area pertaining to the welfare of the rural people.
These welfare programmes were launched with service bent of mind, integrity and dedication used began the community by approaching from the grass root level. The organization braved many obstacles and hurdles in carrying out successfully all the programmes. Never the less, the entire developmental programmes have been completed by the organization with dirt of pursuance and tact and all of them have been created as completed.
PAD has been working in Kadiri mandal since 1982. Presently it is working in Kadiri, ODC and Nallamada mandlas of Anantapur district. PAD started working with 250 members in 10 villages in 1982 and now is working in 3 mandals. It is involved in forming women’s association, strengthening these associations, taking up women and Dalit issues, enabling them to gain access to government programmes and increasing their economic independence through promotion of savings. Presently we are implementing primary Health programme, integrated Development Programmes like water shed programmes supplementary Education and Primary Schools and Dalit empowerment, Water Shed Development and Agriculture land Development activities / programmes in the above mandals.
