AKRSP following the principle of “learning by doing approach” began organizing the people at village and sub-village level to work with them as a support organization.
As the benefits began coming in from formation of organizations and from working with AKRSP, people started organizing themselves in various forms to be able to address their emerging needs and requirements. In this way, in addition to VOs and WOs, other organizations like interest groups, clusters and local development organizations came into being in order to benefit from the opportunities available at local and regional level.
To a considerable extent, these institutions also have established linkages with other organizations and government departments by involving themselves in the development process.
