FUNDRAISING and COMMUNICATION

NGOs in India are still facing a number of challenges and are highly dependent upon government and international funds while resources are available in plenty around us. NGOs can bring a ten fold more impact if they have fundraisers who help them reach and access the vast local resources in a professional manner. SAFRG along with the support of Care & Concern Foundation, efforts, through this course, are to build skills and help NGOs to diversify their sources of funds and therefore move towards sustainability. Almost all Indian and International NGOs strive for fundraisers as their key to growth and sustainability.

Who should attend these courses?

• NGO professionals

• Existing fundraisers who have not received any prior professional training in fund raising

• Individuals looking at fundraising as a career option

The course offers to its participants:

• On job training in raising funds for leading national and international NGOs. The course would be coalescing practical drills and theoretical knowledge. 

• Evaluation of their practical performance, on satisfactory culmination there could be job opportunities too.

Methodology

The course shall be transacted through class-room teaching, presentations, group work, practical sessions, and case studies by leading trainers in Fundraising and experts in the field.

Medium of instruction and course material will be in English.
