20 NGOs shortlisted for EdelGive Social Innovation Honours 2012

EdelGive Social Innovation Honours 2012  received an overwhelming response with applications from over 250 NGOs. The aim of the award is to identify and reward organizations that are innovating to empower women in India. ESIH would showcase and support organizations with unique approaches to tackle challenges that face women.

This year, the top 20 organisations short-listed across four categories of Health & Well Being, Education, Economic Security & Livelihoods, Rights and Representation are:

Health & Well Being

Rights & Representation
1.       Deccan Development Society, Andhra Pradesh
2.       Front for Rapid Economic Advancement – India (Akshara Centre) - Maharashtra
