Banwasi Vikas Ashram is a non profit organization working in Giridih, Hazaribag and adjoining districts of Jharkhand to empower poor and marginalized population for their overall development and improved conditions of life. It was establish in the year 1990 by a small team of committed social workers who were working in their respective regions. The idea was to organize community development activities in remote rural areas and increase accessibility to basic services.
