Can you help me change lives ???
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today!!!
This is Sameena Parveen, working as a Team Lead with one of the leading Fortune 500 companies. As an active Corporate Social Responsibility Champion at Bangalore, I have been imparting life skills training to the under privileged at domestic NGOs viz. SOS Children’s Village Of India, Vidyanikethan and Dr. Reddy's Foundation from past 3 years. I have also been a regular sponsor of children's education at SOS.
I am now participating in a self-funded Everest Base Camp Trek 2010 organized by VSO for a fundraising event in support of VSO’s work revolving around 6 development goals – Disability, Education, Health, HIV and AIDS, Participation and Governance and Secure Livelihoods in 21 of the world’s developing countries, including India.
Voluntary Service Overseas is the world's leading independent international development organization that works through volunteers to fight poverty and believes in sharing skills and changing lives. VSO India volunteers are working to make a lasting change to quality of life. Since 2004, VSO has been recruiting professionals from India to volunteer in other developing countries through its partner iVolunteer.
I would be eligible for this trek only if I fulfill the challenge of raising a minimum of Rs. 3,80,000 (i.e. 4,750 GBP) by December 11th 2009. You will be pleased to know that I will be the first ever Indian lady participant from Bangalore to participate in this charity challenge along with other 15 volunteers worldwide. I have taken up this challenge with the sole intention of making people aware of various good causes and how a small contribution can make a big difference. To begin with, I have personally donated Rs. 40,000 towards this benevolent cause and opened my challenge account with the contributions from few well wishers and donors.
I am proud to be associated with this initiative and I hope and wish that your bighearted contribution will help me reach the target set. If you want to help me touch lives and make this world a fairer place for all, quickly logon to http://original.justgiving.com/sameena_parveen and click "Sponsor Me Now".It is fast, totally secure and you can even type a message with your donation.Waiting for your good luck message and the magnanimous contribution you would like to make to help me support the marvelous good cause.
Please spread this information to as many people as you can and support me in this noble endeavor.

I commend most of the work you are doing but promoting "HIV" and "AIDS" doesn't benefit the vulnerable except if they are given food, vitamins and other things excluding "HIV testing" and "antiretrovirals", only the donors, activists, drug companies. Please research this before you commit yourselves to test people with tests that don't detect the alleged virus.
Ive been curious after spending long visits in Uganda over the last 6 years why "AIDS" discriminates so overwhelmingly between the races? Is it "HIV" or malnutrition that causes immune deficiencies there?
