Grants competition for ‘Schools for Entrepreneurs’
There are people all over India who have the drive and inspiration to arrive at innovative income-generating options that will support disadvantaged schools and their students. The UK Based education charity Teach A Man to Fish wants to assist such minds. Teach A Man to Fish is organizing a competition to find the best school-based income-generating initiatives in India and help people turn their ideas into reality.
In this competition, Teach A Man To Fish is looking for the most innovative, practical ideas for income-generating activities for schools that will boost their financial resources at the same time teaching business skills to their students.
Entries will be assessed on the strength of the business concept and the project’s contribution to development.Winners will be selected by a panel of international judges, with up to five grants of up to $5,000 available for the top entries, along with the consultancy support needed to help turn their ideas into reality. First round entries must be received before the competition closing date of April 1st 2009.
