Feel free to share a list of initiatives that specifically attempt to connect two (or more) sets of people... and I'll update my list... and become more aware. :)
on the "connection" side i can only remember mailing lists, orkut and facebook communities right now but there are a lot of sites with good news related to the social sector .. thinkchangeindia.org, indiatogether.org, betterindia.com etc ..
