Interview of Michael Bloomberg, NY mayor

Michael Bloomberg is responsible for running the New York city, and has done a superb job on all fronts. Prior to this, he headed the Bloomberg information systems, an indispensable information channel for people in Finance. He brings the same, common sense, efficiency, leadership & vision to his job as mayor. It is enlightening to hear him speak on governance, public policy and making a difference. One sentence that stuck in my head is, in business you take resources out of places not doing well, and put them in those that are. In Government, it is opposite, you take away resources from programs running well, and put them in those that are not.
