Lifebuoy National Child Health Award


Inviting NGOs for sending their entries to Lifebuoy National Child Health Award
Lifebuoy National Child Health Award is a recognition to the exemplary work done by NGOs in each of the following five areas of child health.
1 Child Nutrition
2 Hygiene
3 Environment (Cleanliness of surroundings, Pure Air, Pure Water, Noise free environment etc.)
4 Education (Quality of education in school, Extra-curricular activities etc.)
5 Social Space (Access to play/activity spaces, TV viewing habits, Supportive neighbourhood etc).

Inviting you to submit your entry for the award.
Its simple. All you need to do is to submit a 15 slide presentation - we can help you with this - on any project that speaks of the success of your efforts. The presentation should cover the following

1. Area of the child health you have touched on ( one of the five areas mentioned above e.g. hygiene )
2. Number of lives your effort has touched or transformed
3. Challenges you faced
4. Ideas implemented to overcome the challenges and deliver result
5. The result.. comparison of before an after
6. Recognition / awards / citations received so far or references of success

Your entries will be reviewed by the Advisory Committee of Lifebuoy NCHS.

The closing date for receiving the entries is 5th August 2009

We would like to invite you for the National level symposium on child health
Lifebuoy National Child Health Symposium (Lifebuoy NCHS) is a national level symposium on child health.
The Purpose and Scope for the Lifebuoy NCHS is to provide an opportunity for leaders and key stakeholders in child health to examine the current child development environment in our society and to set the roadmap for a desired future.

The symposium will cover : Child Nutrition, Hygiene, Environment (Cleanliness of surroundings, Pure Air, Pure Water, Noise free environment etc.), Education (Quality of education in school, Extra-curricular activities etc.) and Social Space (Access to play/activity spaces, TV viewing habits, Supportive neighbourhood etc).

We are expecting NGOs, educationists, government and policy makers to be part of this symposium, with national and international speakers of repute addressing the forum.

We would like to invite key NGOs working in the above mentioned areas for the national seminar in August 2009 and if you would like to receive such an invitation, do send a mail to ruchita.shah@ipan.com
