ASC COMMENTS:
Minor damage occurred in eastern Assam. Strong tremors were felt in Dimapur in Nagaland and in Golaghat, Guwahati and Tezpur in Assam. It was also felt in parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Mizoram. In Bangladesh, it was strongly felt at Sylhet and tremors were also perceptable in Dhaka. Mild tremors were felt as far as Kolkata and Siliguri in West Bengal, India.
