Mumbai (Bombay) : NASSCOM Foundation, the CSR arm of the premier IT-BPO industry body in India, is organizing a Clean-up Drive at the Ghatkopar Railway station, Mumbai. The drive will be carried out by employee volunteers from InfrasoftTech, Pangea3, TCS, Tricom, WNS and Zenith computers. It is well recognized that the local train system of Mumbai is its very lifeline, carrying lakhs of people to their destinations everyday. This clean up initiative is planned to be the first in a campaign to sensitize citizens and railway passengers towards the necessity and pressing need to take pride in our public infrastructure. In order to make the initiative a sustainable one, we would also focus on building awareness amongst citizens, encouraging passengers to take a no-litter pledge and make this event a benchmark for more such drives in the future to make Mumbai a clean city.
Agenda: Clean the platforms by lifting the litter, wash the walls with soap, get people in taking the NO-litter pledge, spread awareness while you enjoy the process.
