Adam Grosser talks about a new way of refrigeration.It weighs 3.5kg, costs 25$. You heat it on (stove, woodfire/gas/hotplate) for 30 min, let it cool down for an hour, and then you put it in 15 Liter vessel(3 gallon) vessel (milk, vegetables, meat). It can keep it refrigerated near freezing point, for 24 hours in 30 deg. C environment. A true breakthrough. Requires no high pressure, no toxic chemicals, and keeps things cool. This is still a work in process. Lets hope they start selling them soon, and become a viable enterprise. The key to the innovation is that, heating source is available in some form almost everywhere, but not a cooling source. This gives a way to convert any heating source into cooling source.
