And truth is suppressed as Government claim success...sad

H Gopi, tht truth is that India has been very successful in almost eradicating polio off the face, inspite of some loopholes in the process. Even the people participated well. The only reason it is delayed is because of the lack of awareness in eastern states of India. Actually, the birth place of polio is India and spread through out the Asia, from India to Russia, Africa and other countries. Other countries are very successful in eradicating polio to a great extent, but only in India compared to others is slow a little bit. But, not bad. There is a talk by Melinda Gates from gates foundation in TED talks explaining the tactful dealing of Indian government in eradicating polio.

Thanks,
Vamsy

It doesnt matter what Govt says, when it is showing the results, right? It didnt say anywhere that it is 100% successful. Moreover, we see lots of ads every now and then in every year, from DD to private media channels, newspapers and other media like hoardings to public to have their children taken polio drops without miss.

Thanks,
vamsy
