MAM Movies, a organization based in Mumbai works towards creating media for social change with the participation of youth and volunteers.

Through one of their project 'Seva Journal' they help non profits with their media needs. The main objective of this program is :

1.    Empower other nonprofits to be successful, by creating short documentary films, which the nonprofits can use to promote their services and reach their audiences. With the addition of this kind of powerful marketing tool, small to medium-sized non-profit organizations can more effectively raise funds, recruit volunteers and educate their local communities about their services.

2.    Inspire youth and Media students to volunteer and through their talent, develop innovative ideas to use media for social change.

3.    Help in creating Community video units for non profits.

4.    Create a Media support Cell to help Non profits.

Hi Nonprofit Partners,

Do you need help creating great videos for your organization or cause?

Then check out YouTube Video Volunteers (
videovolunteers), a new platform we launched last week in conjunction
with the White House's new "United We Serve" Initiative. Video
Volunteers is intended to create a bridge between YouTube users with
video skills, and nonprofits who need help. Already, we're receiving
tons of interest from the YouTube community -- the channel has
accumulated close to 12,000 subscribers in just 2 days and many
individuals have left channel comments asking for certain nonprofits
or causes to get involved.

Subject: Voice of the NGO -- a new podcast series

Niranjana Rajagopal approached Indicast with the concept of "Voice of the NGO", a series of podcasts that would aim to make listeners more aware of the NGO scene in the city of Mumbai (for now).

The podcasts will be presented through our collaboration with Karmayog.

Each epsiode in the Voice of the NGO podcast series will focus on a particular NGO, and will cover the work that the organisation is doing towards its cause. The podcasts will literally give a 'voice' to NGOs, so that potential volunteers, donors, and people requiring support can have a better idea of the NGO landscape.

I might need some help to make a film for an ngo in bangalore and hyderabad. The place houses the blind and works on identifying their talent and nurturing it. Currently there are musicians and singers who perform at various shows, the idea is to create a self sustaining model for those people for whom opportunity otherwise is a hard luck.
Still at a budding stage, need volunteers with relevant experience. Its a phenomenal vision that has to be translated into this film....
Any suggestions?
