Please mail Yash and me (chandni_parekh at yahoo.com) if you'd like him to volunteer with your NGO, or have any ideas for him.

I'd be glad to get any guidance on opportunities for volunteering in Bombay. I'd especially enjoy working with kids. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
Teaching sounds like a great option, and I'd be most comfortable with
Math and English. However, I wouldn't want to omit other possible
ways of volunteering at this stage either, so if you could please
suggest a couple of other options, that'd be great.
prefer the Vile Parle/Andheri/Santacruz area (or thereabouts) and I can
devote around 5 hours a week (hope that isn't too little)
I've done my Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics from Germany. Since graduation, I worked and studied actuarial science simultaneously. For the past year, I've been working in consulting.
I've chosen to volunteer because I feel a desire to contribute to society in some way, but I also feel that it'd be a great learning experience and also fun.
With respect to days/timings, I get off work pretty late Monday to Saturday, but I'm open to putting in a couple of hours from 7pm or so if that is a possibility. Otherwise, Sunday morning to afternoon is also good for me. Ideally, I'd like to put in a couple of hours on a weekday evening and a couple of hours on a Sunday.
Thanks again for all your help,
