Thanks for the initiative, Megha. However, in the newest version - http://stimulating-videos.ideagutter.com, the problem as well as the solution has been encapsulated in an absorbing yet compact manner.
Pulkit, I didn't have the embed code for the latest version, so I could only include the link to it in the post. If you have the embed code, please send it to me and I'll update the post.

We must create awareness...it is becoming bad to worst...
Megha, as part of the CSIM Course on Social Entrepreneurship, one of the classes was taken by a great person. His name is Ayyappa Masagi. He has mastered the art of water conservation, and has big results in North Karnataka. I believe he has also written a book on the same. With that level of expertise available in India on rainwater harvesting and water conservation, a lot of the problems should be addressable.

IF ANY BODY IS INTERESTED PLEASE WRITE TO US WITH THEIR BACKGROUND. PLEASE NOTE HE SHOULD BE WELL VERSED WITH KANNADA LANGUAGE TO RECORD DOCUMENTS ETC.
We do need better systems (like rainwater harvesting), but most importantly...much more responsible citizens. Check out http://www.slideshare.net/pulkitparikh/a-tiitanic-crisis-to-be-watered-down.
